My Experience with Cosrx One Step Moisture Up Pad:

Cosrx has two varieties of skincare pads currently. One is this “moisture up pad” and the other is the “pimple pad.” The pimple pad contains salicylic acid as the main ingredient and as the name says, is aimed towards people with acne.

This “Moisture Up Pad” in a huge, tub-like container with a screw cap. There are 70 pads in total and they are soaked in essence. The tub is really very large and it will be occupying a very large space if you are planning to take it on a vacation, but you can take a few pads and transfer it into a new sterile compact container, but without the essence, all the pads will start to dry up.

You have to use your fingers and pinch the pad out. Or if you have sterile tweezers, they will come in handy. The pad is a round cotton pad and sturdier than the normal cotton pads used for toning. It has two sides, one is the embossed side and the other one is smooth.

At first, I used the embossed side and swiped it across my face. It really took away what was left behind after cleansing. And after that, I used the other side. Since the pads were soaked really well, even while using the smooth side, the pad was wet. After using the pad, I straight away apply my sunscreen because it is a moisturizing sunscreen and I find it enough in the morning.

This pad actually made me skip the “toner and serum” part. It really did the job of an astringent toner and also hydrated the skin well. These pads leave a thin sheen on my skin and I find that I had to tap for a minute or so until it is fully absorbed, but they definitely do the job well.

This works as an absolute all-in-one product for me. Since it has an embossed side, it is easy to exfoliate with it. It also hydrates my skin to the extent I am happy with.
