Am saddened, but not surprised given that he had major health problems for a no of years. A highly talented footballer, and much admired, and also, from the little I have seen of him in the media over the years, a generosity of spirit. The world of football will be poorer for his passing today, but he leave a rich legacy of talent
UPDATE: This was written before I read of the domestic violence allegations which appeared, from what I read, to have some strong evidence
