Seventeen Wow! Skin 3 way highlighter // MostlyMilly

Recently I've been really loving a glowing, shimmery look to my skin and was on the lookout for a highlighter or primer that I could mix in with my foundation to give me a more natural, glowy effect. For a few months now my go to highlighter has been my smashbox highlighter which I love, it's so creamy and easy to use and it never appears oily. I have a pretty normal skin type and I very rarely suffer with oily skin which allows me to experiment with non matte looks. Infact I never use a matte foundation or a tonne off powder as I don't feel like it suits me at all and cakey is the last look I'm going for.

Sadly, I don't remember who's blog I was reading the other day when I came across this product but they did a pretty good job of selling it to me as the next day I had bought it. The Seventeen Wow! Skin 3 way highlighter is supposed to be versatile enough to be able to use as a foundation primer, to be able to mix it in with your foundation and to use as a general highlight on the cheekbones ect ect. The price mark is £5.99 and for that I think it's a bargain.

The product comes with a handy pump type dispenser which makes using it super easy. There's nothing worse than having to try and pour out the correct amount of product onto your hand, especially if you're as clumsy as me. The amount of disasters I've had with white jeans and Nars sheerglow...
The packaging is fairly simple but I like the way you can see how much product you've got left so you don't run out unexpectantly.

^ This is what the product looks like when you first apply it onto your hand. Note that this is probably way too much and that with this highlighter , a little goes a long way.

Yes, I have to admit it looks very shimmery and sparkly on the hand but don't panic, it doesn't look nearly as sparkly on the face or mixed in with your foundation. You don't want to be looking like a walking disco ball so like I said before, less is definitely more with this product.

^ Here's a fairly poor attempt at showing you what it looks like on the face.  Here I'd used it on the tops of my cheekbones, down my nose, under my eyebrows and on my cupids bow. Personally I think it gives a really pretty effect and I think the fact it's basically a 3 in 1 product for £6 is perfect. All this aside I would maybe be alittle wary of this product if you have very oily skin, however for dry, combination / normal skin types I think it's great :)

Thank you for reading my loves and if you enjoy my posts pretty please give me a follow on bloglovin, here x
